Eighth-rankedUSK Praha (10-25) was very close to win a game against sixth ranked Usti n/Labem (20-15) in Usti nad Labem on Sunday. Usti n/Labem managed to secure only three-point victory 75-72 . However their fans expected easier game. Worth to mention a great performance of American forward Lesley Varner Jr (201-1998, college: UTRGV) who helped to win the game recording 19 points. His fellow American import guard Kris Martin (194-1997, college: Colorado St., agency: Octagon Europe) contributed with 10 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Canadian guard Jaden Campbell (195-2000, college: Samford) answered with 17 points and 6 rebounds and forward Dalibor Vlk (202-2002) added 13 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for USK Praha. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Usti n/Labem moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Decin. USK Praha at the other side keeps the eighth position with 25 games lost. Usti n/Labem is looking forward to face higher ranked Brno (#4) on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. USK Praha will play against Decin (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
